Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Made Huge Decision, Reports Say Divorce Imminent

For those of you who consider yourself fans of Jennifer Lopez and/or Ben Affleck (or who, at the at least, are interested in updates regarding their well-publicized marital difficulties), we may have the clearest sign yet that a divorce is, regrettably, imminent.

The present state of Affleck and J-Lo’s marriage has been the subject of numerous discussions over the past few weeks, and according to TMZ, the couple is reportedly trying covertly to sell the house they purchased together after getting married.

The pair reportedly paid more than an eye-watering $60 million for the opulent Beverly Hills property last year. Unfortunately, though, it is believed that Ben moved out of the house since he and Jennifer’s marriage is failing.

The Dogma actress is renting a home in Brentwood, California, but TMZ has been informed by sources that J-Lo is currently searching for her own residence.

The gossip website claims to be aware that “Bennifer’s” house has been up for sale for about two weeks, but as of this writing, no serious purchasers have expressed interest.

It’s interesting to note that the couple reportedly wants to recoup “about $65 million” for the home. Even if it seems like a nice amount, the actual amount shows a less favorable picture.

According to TMZ, Ben and Jennifer would lose millions of dollars if they sold their property due to broker commissions, a new tax on extremely costly properties, and the money they spent on renovations.

And that, my dear readers, suggests to me that they’re getting close to the “sell at any costs” stage, which suggests that they’re not willing to stay put and try to salvage their marriage.

In contrast, the couple’s attempt to sell their house is probably the best indication yet that a divorce is imminent.

You undoubtedly recall that Lopez canceled her scheduled North American tour last week in order to spend more time with her family.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” the superstar wrote.

“I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

Ben has been seen out of his engagement ring on multiple occasions, and their most recent public appearance together—meeting to watch Ben’s son play basketball last weekend—did little to reassure fans that the couple was working through their issues.

Do you believe that Ben and Jennifer will eventually get a divorce?
