When a poorly dressed man was refused service at a five-star hotel, Audrey stepped in and invited him to her home. Introducing him to her husband, Frank, they offered him their Airbnb room. The man, Nicholas, stayed for three days and then revealed his true identity and shocking news.
“This is a five-star hotel. We have the right to refuse service. Please leave, or I will call security,” Whitney, the receptionist, sneered at the older man. Audrey intervened and took him to her home. “I’m Audrey. My husband and I have a small room we rent out. You can stay as long as you need,” she offered.
Three days later, Nicholas asked Frank to drive him back to the hotel. Audrey and Frank were shocked to see him in an Armani suit. “I own this hotel and several others,” Nicholas revealed. “I was testing them. It’s all going to change from now on.” He fired Whitney and the manager, Gregory, for their poor treatment of guests.
Nicholas made significant changes, promoting some staff and hiring Frank as a concierge. Within a year, Frank became the manager, and Audrey headed the maintenance staff, learning that “everyone deserves to be treated equally.”
