A son took his mother to an old age home, where he visited her from time to time.
After his father’s death, the son decided to place his mother in an old age home, visiting her occasionally. One day, he received a call informing him that his mother was critically ill.
When the son visited his dying mother, he asked if he could do anything for her. She replied, “Please install fans in the old age home, there are none. Also, put a fridge for betterment of food because many times I slept without food.” Surprised, the son asked why she never complained before.
She answered, “I’ve managed with the heat, hunger, and pain, but when your children will send you here, I am afraid you will not be able to manage!” Her final words were, “What you give is what you get.”
