Beloved legendary TV host passed away this morning

Joe Elmore, the longtime host of Tennessee Crossroads, passed away at 80 after a long illness. A beloved figure on the show for 37 years, Elmore was known for his warmth and storytelling, showcasing Tennessee’s unique people and places.

Starting his career in Memphis, Elmore became a Nashville staple and also hosted shows like Detroit Muscle and Horsepower TV. A talented musician, he played in bands and released music.

Tributes have poured in, honoring his legacy. Tennessee Crossroads will continue in his memory.
