After an illustrious 50-year journey on the road, the iconic musician Elton John has officially concluded his touring career.
During his final performance at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena, Elton John expressed heartfelt gratitude to his devoted fans for their unwavering support throughout his extraordinary career.
“It’s been 52 years of sheer joy,” the 76-year-old singer shared with a moved audience, receiving thunderous applause. Delivering poignant renditions of his classics “Your Song” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” Elton John acknowledged the indispensable role his fans have played in shaping his career.
“You are the reason I’m here today,” he affirmed. “Your unwavering support, from buying CDs and concert tickets to simply being there, means the world to me.”

A touching tribute was also paid to Elton John at the farewell event by Chris Martin, lead vocalist of Coldplay, who coincidentally performed in Sweden at the same time.
